If you still not sure where to invest your money (if you have some), I’d recommend you to focus on health care in general and regenerative medicine in particular.

According to a new technical market research report, STEM CELL TECHNOLOGY: CURRENT APPLICATIONS AND FUTURE DIRECTIONS (BIO035C) from BCC Research BCC Research, the domestic market for stem cell technology is expected to increase from $112.0 million in 2007 to $423.1 million in 2012, a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 30.5%

The market is divided into cellular therapeutics and therapeutic banking categories. Stem cells in therapeutic banking have the larger share of the market, worth $65.9 million in 2007 and expected to increase to $155.7 million in 2012, for a CAGR of 18.8%.

Cellular therapeutics should be the faster growing segment. Cellular therapeutics generated $46.1 million in 2007 and is expected to generate $267.4 million in 2012, a CAGR of 42.1%.

It’s very good to know that the market is rising up now.. I think people can go ahead and buy some stocks.. haha. The only risky thing is that no one can predict if stem cell based technology is safe at all or not as what you have posted about G-CSF..

This is good news, not only for investors but also all the people who have conditions that can be solved through stem cell technology and therapeutic cloning.

yet not time to go and buy some stock, IMHO too risky. I know examples when SC companies started like a rocket on the stock exchange but then fell down.

People on Wall St still afraid to invest a lot of money to such “young thing” with unclear (for them) perspective.
But I think it’s time for venture capital invest to RegMed

Don’t understand – research US market or World market?
and growth rate 30% for so “micromarket” – is not so great.
When sale’s 400mln after 5 year, market capitalisation, is about 400 mln.
In my opinion this market will be more bigger. world market. after 5 year. and the growth per year 70%.
However, nobody can (and I too) make good prognosis, when market is zero.
