If you already decide to get into Regenerative Medicine market and start your business, you have to estimate how much you can spend and how much you can get.

Lee Buckler – Executive Director of the International Society for Cellular Therapy, already calculated for you!

He posted analysis of Cell Therapy manufacturing market on Cell Therapy Blog.

I just got a message from Lee Buckler over LinkedIn and Twitter that says:

I’m looking for early-stage, private companies (therapeutic, platform, tools) in the cell therapy or regenerative medicine space looking for money.
Criterion: < 30 employees, < 5 years old, private, actively looking for funding, and willing to present an “elevator” pitch in February to an investor panel.

so, if you have your small startup in RegMed field interested in getting fund, contact Lee,
or send me a message.

Thanks for the plug, Alex. I should clarify a couple things.

1) I used to be the Executive Director of ISCT. Now I am a consultant with the Cell Therapy Group.

2) The table Alex has posted from my blog posting is:
(a) an assumption for the purposes of my analysis and not an estimation – it is a very rough average at best; and
(b) the figures are not the assumed costs of product development but rather ONLY the cost of manufacturing as Alex points out.

I welcome feedback and critique of my analysis which you can read in its entirety at http://www.celltherapyblog.com.

Thanks again, Alex, for your continued support and commentary.
